Registration is now open for the 2024 NAB Show. This year’s event is scheduled for April 13-17 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with the Exhibit Hall opening April 14.
Show organizers say 2024 trend highlights include AI, “streaming universes,” virtual production, and the creator economy. The event will also emphasize live events and advertising.
New this year will be the Creator Lab destination, curated by Jim Louderback and Robin Raskin, and the Propel ME startup program.
Creator Lab is focused on the creator economy and features interactive workshops and networking events. Programming will cover topics including AI’s role in production, the utilization of video for corporate messaging and the establishment of a resilient infrastructure for the content ecosystem.
Propel ME will launch as a digital forum for startups (here on NAB Amplify!) in January. Then, during the April Show, Propel ME will be transformed into a live experience.
“Creator Lab and Propel ME epitomize the spirit of innovation we will be spotlighting at the 2024 NAB Show, providing a dynamic intersection where creativity meets technology,” said Chris Brown, executive vice president and managing director, NAB Global Connections and Events.
“Amid the swiftly transforming media landscape, it is important that the Show provide unique activations like these to act as a guide to the tech and companies that are redefining the horizons of the entertainment industry.”
Returning programming includes the Devoncroft Executive Summit, Post|Production World, Streaming Summit, TVNewsCheck’s Programming Everywhere and Core Education Collection, which features the Broadcast Engineering and Information Technology conference, Small and Medium Market Radio Forum and the Focus on Leadership Speaker Series.
