Our Sustainability Commitment

• Reducing Environmental Impact: We are dedicated to minimizing our carbon footprint by implementing eco-friendly practices and technologies throughout the event.
• Sustainable Booth Design: We encourage exhibitors to consider sustainable booth design, using reusable and recyclable materials to reduce waste.
• Waste Reduction: We prioritize waste reduction through recycling, composting, and by minimizing single-use plastics and materials.
• Energy Efficiency: We work with the Javits Center to reduce energy consumption through energy-efficient lighting and HVAC systems.
• Transportation: We promote eco-friendly transportation options, such as public transit, biking, and carpooling, to reduce emissions.

Your Role in Exhibitor Sustainability

As an exhibitor, you play a vital role in our sustainability efforts. Here are some ways you can contribute:

1. Sustainable Booth Design: Consider using sustainable and recyclable materials for your booth construction and graphics. Also, consider reusing logos and graphics at multiple events rather than creating new signs and graphics for each event.
2. Reducing Waste: Minimize printed materials and opt for digital alternatives. Encourage attendees to use digital brochures and materials.
3. Reusable Giveaways: Choose promotional items that are reusable, durable, and eco-friendly.
4. Energy-Efficient Lighting: Use LED lighting and ensure it is turned off when not needed.
5. Transportation: Encourage your staff to use eco-friendly transportation options when traveling to and from the event.
6. Donate Unwanted Items: After the event is over, consider donating any unwanted items in your booth through the JavitsCares program.

Booth Donations

Looking to donate unwanted items after the event? The JavitsCares program makes it easy.

1. Complete the JavitsCares Donation Request spreadsheet on this webpage. There are different tabs for event producers and exhibitors.
2. Collect photos, product sheets, or website references of the donations. Without this information, the items are unlikely to be accepted by our donation partners.
3. Send #1 and #2 to javitscares@javitscenter.com.
